Another good dish is Waterworks Cheeseburger which is a great substitute for a meat burger.

Many people who visited this restaurant appreciate the taste of Orange Cauliflower. This appetizer resembles orange chicken, but it uses tempura-battered cauliflower coated in a sweet orange chili sauce.

Verdine offers a special gluten-free baked doughnut only on weekends. If you are planning to visit on Saturday or Sunday, you must check out this dessert.

It might be a little tricky to find the front door of the restaurant. It would help if you looked for them in the back half of the building behind Jinya Ramen and next to Floyd’s 99 Barbershop.

    2. Green Seed Vegan, Almeda Road

This restaurant is a casual restaurant with a completely vegan menu. All dishes contain plant-based ingredients, and recipes are constantly being adjusted to suit seasonal products. Famous dishes

You can find only Asian dishes here.

    4. Govinda’s Vegetarian Cuisine, West 34th Street

&#; Govinda’s Vegetarian Cuisine &#; is an unlikely establishment that can hardly be called a cafe or a restaurant: rather, a large kitchen to which visitors were allowed.

There are no rules usual for catering: it is customary to take off your shoes at the entrance. Guests don’t get a menu but simply put dinner on the table according to the number of people. Cooks, waiters, and cleaners are the same people who alternately perform one or the other work. From a European perspective, everything looks very hectic and unusual, but it allows you to plunge into the world of Indian cuisine much deeper than at the level of curry, paneer, and hot spices.

    Famous dishes

The selection of the buffet rotates depending on the day, but you will always have some tasty vegan foods. For example, you might try their spinach and potatoes, vegetable kofta, chickpea curry, or BBQ tofu.

The menu is a mix of vegan and vegetarian dishes, but if you want strictly vegan, then you should visit on a Wednesday or Sunday. On these days of the week, all of their servings are vegan.

The vegan food houston contains classic dishes in which plant counterparts replace meat and dairy products. For example, raw-food pizza and cheesecakes without cottage cheese. But the main focus of the cafe is on culinary experiments and invites guests to try their unique combinations.

Professional chefs do not use preservatives and flavor enhancers in the kitchen. They don’t store any dish for more than 5 hours. If guests do not receive an order from under the knife, then they certainly do not risk seeing yesterday&#;s pizza or a weathered salad on the plate.

    Famous dishes

The famous dishes are fajita plate, jalapeno cheeseburger, Cauliflower Hot Wings, or chik&#;n fried chik&#;n.

All dishes are suitable for vegans: the cheese, seafood, and sour cream indicated in the dishes have plant ingredients only. For raw foodists, the choice is small, but not limited to desserts and salads, as is often the case in coffee shops.

    Trendy Vegan

Offering Asian-inspired, mouthwatering vegan dishes, Trendy Vegan in Greenway Plaza will satisfy any craving involving chopsticks. Dan dan noodles and General Tso Tofu are a couple fan favorites, but you can't have those until you've indulged in appetizers like the purple cheese puffs and hot and spicy dumplings. Trendy Vegan is a cozy spot but offers takeout and online ordering for those looking to satiate their hankering for hot, flavorful cuisine in the comfort of their home or hotel.

    Craft Pita

The fresh tastes of the Mediterranean are available in the beautiful and colorful dishes served at Craft Pita. Vegan food houston Rafael Nasr spent his childhood summers in Lebanon and brings his love for fresh olive oils, fruits and vegetables to his restaurant. The crispy tahini salad is almost too pretty eat, so start off with the Zataar flatbread just in case. Craft Pita also offers brunch with vegetarian tacos and Turkish iced coffee. A combo you didn't know you needed.

    Vegan in Houston

Deep in the heart of Texas lies Houston, one of the country’s biggest cities and a Mecca for Texas culture. Once thought of as nothing more than a place where oil deals are made, Houston now provides more than just cowboy boots and humid summers. From art museums to offbeat boutiques, Houston has plenty to offer the intrepid vegan traveler.

    Arts and Crafts
Head to the city’s aptly named Museum District, nestled next to the beautiful Rice University campus and Hermann Parkto visit a veritable hub of art. In The Museum of Fine Art, Houston you will find pieces from Damien Hirst to Georgia O’Keeffe in the permanent collection, and everything from Impressionists to 19th century decorative arts in its exhibitions. Next, turn the corner onto Montrose Street to the Contemporary Arts Museum, where you’ll be amazed at exhibitions full of light and sound, as well as action-packed photography. If you’re a connoisseur of crafts, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft on Main Street will amaze with tours, workshops, and galleries hosting unique and breathtaking pieces. But perhaps the best museum in the Bayou City is found outside the Museum District. The Menil Collection, hidden in the middle of a residential neighborhood, is an airy space that hosts unique, ever-changing exhibitions from contemporary to neoclassical, guaranteeing a memorable, one-of-a-kind experience.

    Shopaholics Welcome
Houston is a dream come true for shoppers. The city is home to the Galleria—a massive complex that features everything from high-end stores like Dior and Tiffany’s to mainstays like Macy’s and Gap. If you prefer to purchase wares off the beaten path, look no further than two Houston neighborhoods. Montrose is home to lots; check out Westheimer Road where you can visit Mint Boutique for unique au courant finds and The Guild Shop for vintage and consignment pieces. The Heights also has plenty of one-of-a-kind stops along W 19th Street and Studewood Street. Get some new spices for your kitchen at Penzey’s Spices, and head into Hello Lucky, Jubilee, Oolala, and Retropolis for clothes, home décor, and more.

    To the Moon
For those visitors looking for a little adventure, Houston can take you places you’ve never been—including outer space! Space Center Houston, part of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, features exhibits that show you what it feels like in microgravity, and tours of the Johnson Space Center where you can see the current Mission Control Center. After you’ve seen rockets and moon rocks, vegan food houston on over to the Zero-G Diner to fuel up.

    Nosh and Sip
When you’re all tuckered out from art museums, shopping, and space travel, head on over to one of Houston’s many delicious restaurants. For a quick bite, stop by Pat Greer’s Vegan Kitchen on W Clay Street vegan food houston Sloppy Moes and a slice of raw pecan pie sweetened with dates and agave, or Quan Yin, a vegan Vietnamese restaurant on Bellaire Boulevard, for spring rolls, salt-toasted tofu, and delicious faux chicken fried steak. For an upscale meal, head to Haven on Algerian Way, a restaurant committed to using only local, seasonal ingredients. While not fully veg, the menu boasts vegan-friendly fare such as peanut-crusted tofu with coconut curry. And the cocktail menu is divine: a glass of tequila with elderflower and hibiscus agave syrup is just one concoction. For a glass of chardonnay, head to French Country Wines on Bartlett Street for a free wine tasting. This small gem, run by husband-and-wife duo Phyllis and Tim Smith, features French reds and whites that the couple handpicks from the vineyards.

From fine art to French fries, Houston has plenty for the casual, curious, and cosmopolitan alike.
