Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Event

During PSPS events, we proactively turn off power to help reduce the risk of wildfires. These events will primarily be called during extreme and potentially dangerous weather conditions. Turning off our customers’ power is not something we take lightly and we consider a number of factors before we make this decision.

We intend to notify affected customers approximately 48 hours in advance of a potential PSPS event and will attempt to notify customers again approximately 24 hours before power is shut off. Additional notifications will be made throughout the outage, when power has been shut off and when it has been restored. Notifications may occur via a combination of phone call, text, mynewextsetup.us, email and social media. There may be situations which prevent us from providing advance notice due to weather conditions and other circumstances beyond our control.

How to contact LinkedIn customer support using its online help center and forum

  • To contact LinkedIn customer support you will have to jump through a few hoops first, since the company doesn't offer direct contact with a customer support team by phone.
  • You'll have to go through LinkedIn's online Help Center, since any support numbers you call will only provide recordings when that direct you to the Help Center anyways.
  • If you can't find the answer to your question in LinkedIn's Help Center, you can also use the Help Forum feature to ask original questions to other users.

As with so many large companies these days, LinkedIn doesn't make it easy for you to get in touch with their team directly. 

And that's understandable, given that there are more than half a billion people using LinkedIn, and more than million of them do so on a regular basis — their customer support team would be absolutely overwhelmed.

So while you can call LinkedIn's various phone numbers (two of which are and ), don't expect anything more than a recording either giving you the company's physical address, or directing you to their preferred method of customer service, the LinkedIn Help Homepage.

How to get LinkedIn customer support through the Help Center

1. From the LinkedIn homepage, click on your picture and the word "Me" in the top right corner of the screen, then click "Open Quick Help" in the dropdown menu.

LinkedIn boasts over million users in more than countries and territories worldwide (LinkedIn, ). 

Although these figures seem considerably low compared to the likes of Instagram with over 1 billion users and Facebook at billion users, the numbers are quite impressive, noting that LinkedIn targets a specific group of users ‒ the professional community. 

Having been officially launched in , LinkedIn has enjoyed a phenomenal gradual growth rate without experiencing any dips, as would be the case for other social media platforms like Twitter.  

In just two years after its launch, LinkedIn had already amassed million members and crossed the million mark in Q1  after going public. 

 
The number of LinkedIn users more than tripled from million to over million members within the next five years, and just a year later, in , the platform crossed its half-a-billion mark.

LinkedIn is the most popular social media platform B2B marketers use for content marketing purposes (Content Marketing Institute, ). Its popularity is at 97%, just ahead of Twitter and Facebook, at 87% and 86%, respectively. 

 
One of the key reasons behind this success is the fact that LinkedIn is the most trusted social platform in the world, according to Business Insider. In its annual reports, LinkedIn has been shown to lead consistently as the most trusted social media platform amidst the surge of fake news.  

In a study conducted by Hubspot, LinkedIn leads in terms of lead conversion rates. Traffic from the platform generates the highest visitor-to-lead conversion rate at %, which is % higher than Facebook and Twitter. This is an impressive figure, more so since 80% of B2B leads come from LinkedIn.
